In June 2007, the Art Garden Society is holding its annual open-air Exhibition and Festival at the stunning venue of the Durham Botanical Gardens.

We are looking for talented artists from Durham, the North-East and all over the country with artwork that relates to:

Landscape, the Natural World and the Environment

Submissions can be in any media including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, installation or moving image.

Entry to the exhibition is free. Work will be judged by an independent panel – prizes include:

The deadline for submissions is 1st June, however if you would like to exhibit please contact us by 15th May at the latest. The exhibition will be open to the public from 16th – 22nd June.

Submissions should include:

1)A short Artist’s statement outlining proposed work. (100 words)

2)Any images you have of the intended piece, or other work, by email or on CD. (300dpi)
